Are you stuck in patterns that keep repeating, trying to find your way out of the maze? Are you willing to do something about it, to put your effort into regaining harmony and satisfaction? Are you prepared to commit to Truth no matter what? In that case, I might be the right guide for you, supporting you to realign with your body and soul in a way that makes life meaningful, satisfactory and even blissful.

I'm a holistic physician who in my 30+ years of being a doctor have realized that health is a complex issue indeed

Often the roots of sickness are deep, but if you’re ready to dig all the way down, the reward is vitality, happiness and strength.

One thing you will discover is that constant stress and focus on your to-do list, with very little room for pleasure and your true needs, is a factor that makes you sick. This is especially detrimental to women because of our inherent connection to the feminine energy of receptivity and fluidity.

Physical symptoms are mostly an expression of an imbalance in the body that has emotional roots. If you suppress the symptoms with medication to make them go away, the imbalance will just show up in a different way. Your feelings and experiences can’t be separated from the body in which they are felt.

These painful memories, conscious or unconscious, are one thing we will explore and heal together in order for the imbalance to heal and for you to come out not only healthier and happier but also wiser and more powerful.

Another one is disconnection from the natural world, being glued to a screen instead of connected to the living world. Then of course there is trauma, relationship difficulties, betrayal and heartbreak. We also carry more suffering from previous generations than we are normally aware of.

All this happens in a world that is rapidly breaking down, indicating a need for us to create other ways to be human together.

The common way to look at disease symptoms is to compartmentalize them. In my approach however, health is a symphony where emotions, sensations, thoughts and the body all play together.

Work with me

If you choose to work with me we will explore deep layers of your inner world to find out, accept and dissolve what’s ailing you. This will also help you get in touch with your true desires, which can then act as a meaningful compass for your life.

There is no preconceived model, we will use what arises in the moment and choose different modalities to work with according to your needs.

Perhaps we’ll do a guided meditation or some creative expression. Maybe we’ll do a somatic practice to balance the vagus nerve or an exploration of how you can have more pleasure in your life.

Maybe we’ll just talk the whole session, deeply aware of what your body and inner parts are telling you as we speak. I also use the QXed biofeedback device to help with relaxation and retraining of physical functions.

Between sessions you’ll have “homework” to deepen the process, both concrete tasks to do out in the world and prompts for inner contemplation.

If you feel drawn to working with me, please fill in this form. If I think I can help you I’ll send you a link to my booking calendar, if not I’ll try think of someone else who can be a good fit. The price hourly rate is 180 USD or 1800 SEK. If you want to work with Biofeedback the first session will be 2 hours and the follow ups 90 min, other sessions are normally one hour.

You can book and pay for as many sessions as you like, but once you have paid, there is no refund. When we’ve worked together for a while, there might be an opportunity to do IRL sessions tailored according to your needs. If we meet in-person, more tools are available such as art therapy and EMDR, both excellent for healing and self-discovery.

I mostly work in Swedish and English but get by reasonably well in French.

Looking forward to connecting!

“Nina has credentials like no other healer I’ve ever worked with. From Western medicine to indigenous medicine, she’s a bridge between the material and the mystical, the practical and the magical, the seen and the unseen, and as such, she knows how to walk us home to our true selves. She will masterfully guide you to the root cause of your discomfort (physical, emotional, mental or spiritual) and through an alchemy of relief and resolution. With my whole heart, I recommend working with Nina!”

“What I love most about Nina’s coaching is that she sees more than what’s in front of her.  In addition to hearing my words and observing my body language, she has a very astute perception of my energy and this made her coaching, the way she held the session and the support she was able to offer, multidimensional and therefore powerful. On top of this, Nina is trauma-informed and adapted our sessions to the needs of my nervous system, which I deeply appreciated.  Nina is a magical being who is well-versed in a variety of rich tools and capable of supporting deep transformation.”

“Nina´s coaching is a haven of compassion, understanding, and love. Her real empathy and kindness covered me from the moment I stepped into her space. Nina’s thorough understanding creates a safe and supportive setting in which I can confidently explore my experiences. Her ability to empathize with my situation and offer continuous encouragement has been genuinely transformational. Nina’s sessions flow with genuine care and connection, which makes me feel appreciated and valued. I am extremely grateful to Nina and her coaching, which has been important in my healing process.”

My experience with Nina throughout the years has been a blessing. I first got to know her as a trauma therapist working with EMDR in the late nineties, and recently I have reconnected for a lingering physical issue that I am dealing with. Extremely skeptical to conventional allopathic medicine, I trust Nina’s unique combination of being an MD with a spiritual and holistic foundation and understanding of the human being and body and of our ability to heal when we understand the root cause of our disease or ailment. I can recommend her to anyone seeking true healing.

About Me

I’m a Swedish MD who left the traditional health care system to focus on a more holistic approach to well-being. I’m also transitioning from living mainly through my masculine, yang power to a more receptive, feminine way of being in the world.

My specialty is child psychiatry, but I have worked with adults as much as with children. I’m an EMDR therapist, an Art therapist and a certified VITA coach.

I also have training in IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy) and Life Span Integration. I have worked a lot with attachment and the consequences of misaligned parenting.

In my younger days, I also worked in the north of Sweden as an old-fashioned GP, taking care of the whole spectrum of human disease, as I was often the only doctor around.

If you’re interested in my formal credentials, I became a licensed physician in 1992. After a 5-year internship, I became a specialist in child psychiatry in 1998.

I started to work as an EMDR therapist in 2001 and became an accredited practitioner in 2004. In 2005 I was trained in Lifespan Integration by Peggy Pace. In 2006, I did a yearlong training with Dutch psychologist Ellert Nijenhuis, called “Diagnosis and treatment of chronic traumatization”, where we focused a lot on dissociation.

In 2009, I took a course in IFS Internal Family Systems Therapy with Richard Schwartz. In 2020, I became a VITA coach and in August 2022 I completed a three-year training to become a certified art therapist.
